Boston Speech Therapy is a bilingual private practice that is dedicated to providing quality speech and language services to children and adults in Boston, MA.  We have been serving the Metro Boston area since 2012. We provide services in both English and Spanish and we are a specialized mobile therapy service.   That means that therapy is provided in homes, preschools, daycare, schools, or offices. We are also qualified to provide evaluations and treatment to any age group or facility that has a need for speech and language services.

Our company is comprised of nationally certified and state licensed speech-language pathologists, as well as state recognized speech-language pathologist assistants. Our speech-language pathologists are highly qualified to evaluate and treat a vast variety of speech and language disorders and delays. Therapies offer include speech and language, voice, accent modification,fluency and AAC (Alternative Augmentive Communication)  Individuals in need will be taught speech and language skills to improve their overall functional communication. The speech and language skills learned will assist these children for success in elementary school and future education. We provide evaluations and therapy in the home or school setting. We work with the child’s parents and teachers to better ensure carryover of the skills we are targeting in the child’s natural environments.

Tanya Acosta , MA CCC- SLP es la dueña y directora de Boston Speech Terapéutica LLC . Ella es una patologista licenciada en el estado de Massachusetts con licencia y certificado patólogo del lenguaje a nivel nacional. Tanya es una patóloga del discurso bilingüe que habla Inglés y Español . Antes de iniciar su práctica, Tanya ha trabajado en diversos entornos , incluyendo escuelas públicas y privadas, una Clínica de Autismo en el extranjero en Irlanda , y una clínica de reposo .

Tanya recibió una Licenciatura en la Universidad de Boston, y un Máster en Trastornos de la Comunicación en  Indiana University Bloomington . Ella mantiene la certificación en Patología del Lenguaje de la Asociación Americana del Habla , Lenguaje y Audición y está disponible en Massachusetts.

Tanya ha tenido una amplia experiencia en la evaluación y el tratamiento de clientes con autismo , de articulación , fonológicas y fluidez trastornos y alteraciones del lenguaje receptivo / expresivo . Ella también tiene una amplia experiencia en materia de alfabetización , como la alfabetización van mano a mano con el desarrollo del lenguaje . Tanya también ha trabajado con clientes con diagnóstico de Trastorno Generalizado del Desarrollo , Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad , trastornos de alimentación , trastornos emocionales y de mutismo selectivo .

Tanya cree en un enfoque de equipo para el tratamiento , por lo que fomenta la colaboración con los padres, maestros y otros terapeutas, cuando proceda, para proporcionar el entorno más estimulante y exitosa para sus clientes. Su práctica se basa en proporcionar la más alta calidad de servicio a sus clientes y sus familias mientras se trabaja para lograr sus metas de habla y lenguaje .
